Volunteering for TALON is a rewarding experience. You will grow your skillset, and network with professionals. The best way to see opportunities is to signup for our volunteer email list. We only use this list to send out opportunities to volunteer for TALON events.
Questions & Answers
What types of people do you need?
All kinds! From people to help move equipment, to people creating machines, to people making sure food gets here on time we need all skillsets.
How much of a time commitment is it?
You can put in as much time as you want. Certain positions, such as leads, will require more commitment but if you have limited availability we can work with you.
What experience do I need?
A lot of our volunteer positions don't require experience. If you've played CCDC in the past it's helpful to know what to expect.
Do I have to travel to the regional event?
That depends. Some volunteers (such as event coordinators) will need to be on site, but we also have many remote positions available!
What will be provided?
For volunteers who are on-site for the regionals event we will provide lunch and dinners. Unfortunately we cannot provide housing.
